100 Years of Curling
Our 2026~2027 season will mark the 100th year of curling in Diamond Valley! Oilfields Curling Club will be celebrating this milestone with fun events throughout the season.
Planning is underway and we'll update everyone as plans come together.
We will be hosting a kick-off Open House on Saturday October 17, 2026.
Find out more here.
Visit our 100 Years webpage to read a couple interesting articles from the "In The Light of The Flares" book about the first curling games and about the formation of our curling club.
One of our early efforts is to gather as much history as we can about curling in our community. If you have something to contribute please email us at [email protected].

Team Keenan Will Represent OCC
Congratulations to our OCC Men's league champions Team Keenan, who defeated Team Creagh in a hard fought battle decided on the last rock of the game.
Team Keenan will be representing OCC at the Alberta Curling Club Championships, the qualifier goes March 5-8 at the Huntington Hills Curling club.
Good Luck and Good Curling men.
Also congrats to team Desjardins for winning the B pool over team Clements.
ONCE AGAIN a huge thank you to the league sponsors Elevation Electrical (Cory Schmidke), Farr Side Mechanical and Electrical (Ian Webb) and R&R Construction (RJ Arkes). Without our sponsors we wouldn't be able to do all the fun things we do.
